A week in the life… of Altrincham PR agency, jwc – by John and Sam (August 4)

Sam Says…

I’ve got one thing on my mind. Christmas.

August means Christmas is well on its way, so this week I’ve been writing a list. A very long list.

And while my list may not be for Father Christmas, it is still a wish list of sorts. It’s a media list of contacts; long leads, short leads, bloggers, blaggers… if they write about Christmas, they’re on it…

Festivities aside, it’s another busy one on the interiors front. Our tile client, The Baked Tile Company, has just launched lots of gorgeous new collections so we are busy introducing these beauties to the interiors press. We’re also getting to grips with the latest Autumn interior trends which include rich earthy colours and digital detox… Time to step away from the iPhone *shudders*

John is a great supporter of the local community

John Says…

This week we revealed the video for the Guerrilla Garden Makeover, we did with I Want Plants.

You can see it here: http://www.iwantplants.co.uk/news/i-want-trees-reveal-winner-guerrilla-garden-makeover/

And it made some lovely news pieces locally.

We are getting asked to do more and more with Facebook ads, so this week we’ve really been getting under the bonnet of that platform. We have been retained to manage all social platforms for Taylors Etc and The Baked Tile Company. So we are hard at work creating content plans to make them really fly.

And just so you know I’m doing my bit for the local community – I’ve had two parking tickets this week. So that’s £50 straight into the coffers for Trafford. I hope my £50 gets used for something nice. Maybe it could go to fund the traffic wardens Christmas party. That would be nice.
