First full week back in the office since the Christmas/New Year festivities and some things never change.
It’s still far too cold for my liking and the delicious independent cafes around us are still tempting us with calorific goodies.
That being said, the new year brings with it some exciting new additions; clients, campaigns and opportunities. Plus it’s also the perfect time to give everything a good overhaul, from our work processes to the clutter around the office.
And, we’ve already secured coverage in Grand Designs for our newest signing, successfully pitched another to Granada Reports and collated a record amount of coverage for our client’s Christmas campaign; bring it on 2018 – we’re ready for you!
I have set myself the challenge of getting fit and losing weight this year. I was going to do that last year but a broken ankle and a busted knee put pay to that.
I thought I’d try running. So I got a Couch to 5K app on the phone, I am just over halfway through and I have realised something – I HATE running.
I really do. It’s just not for me. I’ve got stumpy legs, weird feet and every time I have finished I don’t have that sense of achievement I get from riding my bike up a big hill. I just feel knackered. And sore. And … like I don’t want to run ever again.
So all you skinny long-legged runners out there – good on you. Carry on. I’ll be on the cross trainer, or the bike. Why run?
