From soft blues to shoreline motifs, coastal style is washing over bathrooms once again according to new research from wall art specialists Beach House Art.

Using data from Pinterest’s Home Décor category, the coastal-inspired art studio found searches for the term ‘coastal bathroom’ have increased 20 per cent in the last month*.

Brian MacShane, Co-Founder and Creative Director of Beach House Art, said: “As the warmer days become more frequent, it’s no surprise homeowners are dreaming of golden days on the beach, and trying to incorporate a small slice of sunshine into their homes.

“And one of the easiest ways to capture the laid-back lifestyle of the coast is through wall art. It is a fantastic way to add colour, calm and a subtle sense of escape to even the most functional of bathrooms, helping to transform the space into a coastal-inspired sanctuary.”

But choosing art for the bathroom, is well, an art form in itself. Cracking the perfect coastal style is not a one-size fits all approach.
