It really did come as a surprise, it was a bit of a David and Goliath moment for us as we were up against some incredible agencies from around the region, who have carried out some brilliant work.

It is a real testament to the fresh thinking jwc try to bring to every project and the creative way we help our clients to communicate.

Needless to say, much drink was taken in celebration on the night and the award now sits in pride of place on our window sill facing Old Trafford Cricket Ground.

The award we won was the PR Inspiration award and was for a campaign we carried out for online sweetie shop AQuarterOf.co.uk

The awards were presented by radio DJ Mark Radcliffe, at Gorton Monastery, and judged by a stellar panel of media industry judges including director of comms at Manchester United, Phil Townsend, and News International’s Head of Advertising Strategy Abba Newbery.

A big thank you to all our clients for their support and lets hope it’s the first of many.
