Google Searches Reveal Boom in Fluted Bathroom Interest

Consumer interest in fluted bathrooms is soaring, according to new research from bathroom specialists Roper Rhodes.

Using data from Google, Roper Rhodes found UK searches for the phrase ‘fluted bathroom’ within the search engine’s ‘Home & Garden’ category have soared to an all-time high.

Zoe Jones, Senior Creative Producer at Roper Rhodes, said: “Fluted homewares, which draw inspiration from the glamourous Art Deco movement, are having a moment right now. They are influencing all areas of the home, but over the last few months we have seen this trend move increasingly into bathrooms too.

“Homeowners often look for more long-term trends when it comes to redesigning their bathrooms, and this surge in interest indicates fluted bathroom designs are going to be around for some time.”

Roper Rhodes’ Fluted Wall Mounted Vanity Unit is part of its Scheme 600 range and features striking fluted detailing adding both a tactile and architectural element to the piece.

As well as gorgeous good looks, it boasts double drawers with internal dividers for ample storage and soft close draws to minimise noise. It can also be customised with a wide range of handles and in five finishes, including natural Sand Oak, Matt White, Derwent Blue, Matt Carbon and Juniper Green.

Matt White and Sand Oak will slot seamlessly into minimalist bathrooms while Derwent Blue, Matt Carbon and Juniper Green will bring with it a whopping dose of colour for contemporary styling.

Zoe added: “Fluted pieces infuse timeless elegance with contemporary styling, adding an element of luxury to functional pieces, and making them the perfect choice for a bathroom upgrade.”

The Scheme 600 Fluted Wall Mounted Vanity Unit is available now from Roper Rhodes, with prices starting from £650.
