New research from Forest Garden, the UK’s largest manufacturer and distributor of wooden garden furniture, shows that interest in garden bars is on the rise.
Using data from Pinterest, Forest Garden found searches for ‘tiki bars’ are currently up by 10% compared to last month, while garden party aesthetic and DIY outdoor bar are also on the increase.
Jenny Davis, Head of Marketing for Forest Garden, said: “Over the last few years, the way we use our homes has changed, with many looking to utilise gardens as an extension of the living space. But the way we socialise has changed too.
“More and more people are entertaining at home, hosting barbecues and soirees which has led to a big rise in demand for contemporary garden bars.”
Forest Garden’s range of garden bars include everything from the budget and space-friendly Fold Down Wall Garden Bar through to the Reverse Apex Garden Bar, which features a service hatch complete with bifold shutters.
Crafted from timber, each one can be painted to suit individual styles, whether that be a tropical-inspired tiki bar or a more sophisticated gin palace.
Jenny added: “The best thing about these home bars is that you can make them your own. Paint it, decorate it, add optics and accessorise it to your heart’s content. It’s guaranteed to get the party started and, of course, once you’ve finished enjoying your tipple you just secure the bar and walk the few feet to the comfort of your own bed.”
The range of garden bars are available now from Forest Garden, with prices starting at £189.99.
