And smaller brands are getting in on the act too with many coming together at the Christmas in July event at Victoria House in Bloomsbury this week (July 12 and 13, 2017).
Pulling these events together is no mean feat; after all, your collection has grab a journalist’s attention and hold it while they head back to the office and start planning their Christmas features.
Prepping for Christmas in July is one thing but it’s the aftermath that’s key. Follow-ups calls, having the right imagery available and fulfilling sample requests are vital to the success of any consumer campaign.
This year we are chuffed to bits to once again be working with a fantastic festive firm, The Handmade Christmas Co.
As the name suggests, these guys sell handmade Christmas items made to order.
The firm was founded by two young entrepreneurs using a £3,000 credit card loan and a dream of selling 500 sacks back in 2014.
They smashed their original target within weeks and sold more than 42,000 sacks in their first year alone.
Last year, we placed them in The Daily Mail, Metro, Evening Standard, Prima, OK, woman&home and Your Christmas. They went on the sell more than 100,000 sacks.
Right now, we are just putting the finishing touches to their Christmas 2017 campaign and it’s one we cannot wait to get cracking with.
